Dancing Classrooms is a social development program for 5th graders. Professional dancers will use ballroom dancing as a vehicle to cultivate essential life skills. Dance is a tool for getting children to break down social barriers, learn about honor and respect, treat others carefully, improve self-confidence, communicate and cooperate, and accept others even if they are different.
Thank you KETV & Kaplan for supporting this program!

Way to go Tigers!
All adults who choose to attend a classroom party will be considered volunteers and will be asked to help in the classroom. All volunteers will pre-register. The form was sent home in Friday folders and is available on our school website. Please return it to your child’s classroom teacher. We look forward to fabulous and safe Halloween Parties at Hitchcock Elementary.
Our Halloween parade will take place outside this year. If you are just interested in seeing the parade, you can park your car and find a place on the parade route. You will not need to check in at the office.
If there is a reason your child should not have this screening (had recent ear surgery) or a parent preference, please contact the health office. You will be notified if your child has any concerns seen after the screening.
